 都心で涼を求めて水辺を散歩。でもやっぱり暑い！更科さんの風鈴の音に一番涼しさを感じました。

Train diorama at TOBICHI

 木次線出雲坂根駅のスイッチバックを再現したジオラマがあるというので、鉄道模型が走る時間に合わせて神保町のTOBICHIへ。入り口では昔懐かしい紙の切符を購入、日付を入れて、パッチン！子供の頃はこうでした。チビ達は初めてなので興味津々。鉄道模型大好きな大きいお友達から小さいお友達まで、あー、とか、おー、とか言いながら、うまく走ると拍手して、皆さん楽しそう。車両を替えて走らせたり、電気を消して、夜走る電車を再現したり。実際は下りの終電が午後4時台だそうで、暗い中は走っていないらしいのですが。チビ達の取り止めのない質問にも答えていただいて、江上英樹さんはじめスタッフの皆さん、どうもありがとうございました。ここでも約2時間、たっぷり楽しませていただきました。

今年の11月23日に奥出雲おろち号というトロッコ列車が廃止になってしまうそうで、その後はいよいよ厳しいとのことで、盛り上げたいのだそう。ちょっと行ってみたくなりました。近くに出雲そばの美味しいところがあるらしいよ。

Breakfast at Blue Bottle Shibuya

 アイスクリームのサンプル配布に誘われて、Blue Bottle渋谷へ。朝から人がいっぱい、ほとんどがアジア系の旅行客。皆さん写真を撮るのに大忙し。大好きなNOLAと絶妙の茹で卵の乗った朝食。チビ達はワッフルにいただいたアイスを載せて食べたり、スコーンと食べたり。このeclipseというアイスクリーム、ヴィーガンなので牛乳を使っていないというのだけれど、とてもリッチで美味しい。少ない量でも満足度が高い。小売はいくら位になるのかなあ。ご馳走様でした。

 「アートな青果展」というのに行ってみた。チビ達は自分達の姿が人参や茄子、バナナになる映像に大はしゃぎ。隣ではDoleのイベントもあって、こちらではパットゴルフにバナナキャッチゲームに大はしゃぎ。アイスのトッピング無料券を頂いたので、早速アイスクリームを求めて移動。出荷できないバナナとアボガドを使ったアイスだというので、よく見たらHarlowのではないですか！さすがに美味しかった。アイスを食べて、またイベントに戻って、無料なのにしっかり３時間以上遊びました。

Catching up with spearmint growth in my little balcony planter. Figs, mascarpone cheese mixed with white miso, honey, and lemon juice, and prosciutto. And watermelon and ricotta cheese. Yum! 

Tokyo Metro Museum

 Visited Tokyo Metro Museum with the boys. Not too big, not too small, just enough space with a subway diorama, old train cars, etc. along with a few subway driving simulators with seemingly retired train drivers helping those little kids. Well spend 3 hours with 100 yen per kid.
