Ton's BD at KidZania

She invited a couple of her friends from elementary school to go to KidZania instead of birthday party this year, so here we went. Girls just took off and started what they wanted to do, and I didn't have chance to take any of their photos....! So, I hanged out with Mo the most of time. He went to Coca Cola booth first. It's his favorite drink these days, and he knows that I don't like him drinking it, he kept telling me he didn't need me stick around... He participated security job, invention lab, sight seeing bus, pilot, and construction work. We were there from 9am to 3pm, we were all tired...

Dinner with Y&G's stuff

These are our dinner tonight. We took the most of all stuff from our friend's apartment before they move back to their home country yesterday. Cleaning up the house and kitchen was fun: was like going through my mom's kitchen. Many deja vu moments, multiple same items such as bags of flour, bread cram, sugar, pasta, etc. Now our pantry is full, fridge does not have an inch to spare, freezer over flowing. So, we have some mysterious food defrosted, and we decided to cook for dinner. Well, I didn't know what I was cooking. Something looked like some kind of meat so I fried well. Some flat things I friend and started smell like fish filet. Cooked some veggies, and grilled shrimp, too. Some green paste, most likely pistachio with spices, which I don't know what to do so it's still sitting in the fridge. Maybe I'll mix it with minced lamb to make meat balls...

Going to KidZania

Instead of having a party for birthday, Ton wanted to go to KidZania with 2 of her friends. Mo wasn't very happy in the beginning but soon he started joining the activities he wants to try all by himself. Girls did their own stuff so we just left them alone. We knew it was safe as the place is closed and designed for kids. They all had fun!

Crisp opening party

Roy opened a new salad bar in Mita, about a block away from Azabu Juban, and we went to check it out. Mad crowded, managed to get salad an hour later...! Well, these were on the house so no complains! Got one to go for papa since he was working late and no way he would get one in this crowd. Good home made lemonade, too. Official opening is Mon Dec 15. Yey!

It's been 8 years since she was born. She wanted ice cream instead of cake, papa bought some ice creams with seasonal decoration. And she opened hula dresses from Myron jiji & Anna. Happy birthday, girl!

Since he went to kindergarten last Sat, it was closed on Mon today and he went to AIS from morning instead. He was happy!

Mom was too sick to cook so we decided to eat out. One of kids' favorite restaurants because they can get kid's meal and toy. This was a special day they had chocolate, too!

Open school for public to come in and check out arts and crafts the kindergarteners made for this exhibition day. Mo's class decided to have some restaurants and he was a staff of bread shop. They made baguette and melon bread with papers. Other kids pretended they work for pizza restaurant, ice cream shop, and pasta restaurant. It was cute to see how they "work" with each other and communicate.

Off course later that they I got a phone call from sub principle that he had a bad case of temper she had to call me to search for a help to calm him down... oh boy. According to her he bit and kicked his homeroom teacher after having a conflict with one of this class mate about taking order, started throwing a chair which made a dent on a wall, he was separated in the teachers' room but still very upset.... When I went to pick him up he was perfectly "usual" to me...
