Hinichinichi dinner with Jen

 Jen's in town by herself, so we had a dinner at our favorite Japanese restaurant and enjoyed sake together!

Masaki on the way home from school

 Got a call from school that he wanted to go home, and wanted to ask his mother if OK. Said to him he should stay at least until finishing the school lunch because they might have something he liked. He should rest at the nurse's room until the next class. I had a conference in the afternoon, so I might be able to come to his class afterwards and go home together. 

No call from school afterwards so I assumed he went back to class, or at least, stayed at school.

While I was at the conference with teachers, he sneaked out the classroom 3 times. I said to him I was not finished, and he should wait for me as I told him earlier. 

He had a tantrum before the end of the class, just like a toddler would do. Crying on the floor. 

And somehow he managed walking back home from school. 

Everyday is a challenge.

Mexican pop-up at BTR

 Cucumber mint salad, and tres tacos: OKAHIJIKI (Salsola komarovi/beachwort), corn & green beans, and tempeh. No meat yet filling and satisfying. Tortillas were home made.

 Baked curry bread & croissant aux amandes limone. Watching the tower building construction between the buildings across the street. The scenery keeps changing under the name of urban redevelopment.... Don't we have enough skyscrapers?

 

朝食＠メゾンランドゥメンヌ。スリランカ・ヴァッシー・カレーパン＆クロワッサンオザマンド　リモーネ。タワービルの建設風景がビルの合間から見える。再開発の名の下に日々変わり続ける風景。高層ビル、まだ必要？

ふきの豚肉巻き

最後のふきを豚バラ肉で巻いて、甘辛く味付け。歯応えが最高。

Jubilee Coffee and Roaster

 Cute machine caught my eyes, and the variety of coffee beans it holds are amazing. Once you step in, you're soaked in the coffee aroma. I had a decaf latte, and it was great. It was a beautiful day, and the trees at Institute of Nature Study were very bright through the window. 

Lunch@Pedibus jambus ペディビュス ジャンビュス

 A casual French restaurant in Shirokane, where it used to be an Italian square pizza shop. A lady is running it all by herself, so you wait for your turn to order and be served. This quiche and salad plate was a quick one. Variety of vegetables was fun to eat. It was packed with all female customers, interestingly. Interior of the restaurant might interest those people. 

Breakfast with Riku at Wendy's

 Quick check up before his school trip. He requested having a heavy meal, so here we are. I used to come to Wendy's for chili when I was a student, and it must have been more than a decade I came back here.
