When I was little, my mom used to buy lots of sardines, and we used to clean them by hand and made hamburgers with shiso leaves, and meatball soup. Everytime we cooked in big quantities, I got better at it. Now I'd rather skip that process, I found sardines already made into paste, and mixed egg, flouer, onion, and ginger, and made miso soup. I don't really see sardine these days at stores.
