Milk gelato with chestnut sauce, rum raisins, and meringue, homemade hard waffle on the side. The ice cream is very rich and flavorful. You choose the sauce and topping on either vanilla or chocolate ice cream, and make your own flavor of multiple combinations. That's very clever! They don't have to prepare many ice creams on stock but have several kinds of sauce and toppings.
湯島から根津に向かって歩いていて見つけたジェラート屋さん。バニラとチョコのどちらかを選び、ソースとトッピングを選んで好みのものを作るという趣向。アイスクリーム自体の種類を増やすのではなく、ソースとトッピングの種類を複数用意して、組み合わせを沢山作れる、賢い！そして、バニラアイスのミルクの味の濃いこと！後から分かったのだけれど、こちらのジェラートは、熊本の福祉施設、野々島学園が作っているのだそう。応援したくなる。
