Meeting with an old family friend! It's been 8 years since they moved back, and now they're in Seoul. Kids spent almost everyday together, and it was overwhelming to see all of them grow up to teenagers. Boys were a bit confused as they don't remember much of those old days, though girls could catch up very quickly. It could be because of SNS and other tools they can communicate with, which makes them feel not separated for too long.
We had lunch, then I went to join them again for dinner at a restaurant called Al Mina in Kanda. I must note what we had so that I can come back and order them again.
Dates with cheese to start, khobezz, pita bread, salad, olives, mutabbel, humms extra, tabbouleh, sambosek, kibbeh & falafel, lahm beajin, shawarma plate, mansaff, sage tea, and kanafeh. Mansaff is superb, and kanafeh is hot and crispy!
