The Blue Impulse flight team from the Japan Air Self-Defense Force performed aerobatics in the sky overhead in Tokyo in 50 years, as a farewell to National Studio Japan (Kokuritsu Kyogijo).

Komazawa Park International School Festival

As a member of hula class, Ton joined a hula show at Komazawa Park International School on its school fair on Sun May 25. It's a small and tiny, family type international school with green in a suburb. 

She danced "Do The Hula" in a shiny blue hula outfit. 

The rest of the show, we, as you can imagine, enjoyed variety of food from around the world, and enjoyed meeting up with some old faces.

Ton & Mo's Sports Day

Wonderful weather today, we packed our lunch, headed to elementary school for its and kindergarten's sports day. Both of them did their best in this heat!

Strange weather today. Rained on and off, thunder and lightning came along, sometime you see blue sky but heavy rain. Sis and bro shared an umbrella to go home.

Bicycle Mo

Belated birthday gift from Masami jiji and Kazuko baba. He did not leave this bicycle at the shop and jiji didn't want to disappoint him just bought this one. He can already ride bicycle and here are a couple of videos: 1 and 2.

Kimono contest

Participated a kimono contest of my kimono school today. Did my hair early in the morning, and I could manage dressing myself in 7 min which was the max allowed to everyone joining this section. Phew! This black kimono is called KURO TOMESODE, with a double layered belt called NIJU DAIKO, This is the formal kimono for married women.

Nishimachi Flea Market

We had a taiko performance at the opening of Nishimachi Flea Market. This time Yousef&Ghalia along with their mom&grandma joined, so Mo decided to join, too.

After the show, kids enjoyed shopping, Ton bought a purple dress with a pair of purple gloves, and Mo a transformer-ish robot toy. Nice weather with familiar faces around, it was a fun day.

New water color set for her art class arrived. Off course you must put name on everything, and now she can put her own name labels.

As Miri was in town, we asked her to make his birthday cake as usual. This time his request was Nankai Rapito, a blue train looks like a robot face on the first train.

Ton invited the brothers from down stairs for the cake before dinner.

He was happy to have lots of lego cars for his birthday gifts, too!

May Day Lei Day Hula Party

Ton's hula class was having a lunch party at New Sanno Hotel. She was very happy to see some of her old class mates, and danced hula a few times, in between lunch and cakes. Then, we won the first prize of lay as a family! I made ribbon lays for all of us, plus Ton and Mo was beaming the instructors the entire time to call their names for the first prize. Fun fun fun!!

Boy won another bubble gum

This slit came with a bubble gum says "hit". He was so happy he won another gum! Off course he spent his own allowance to buy the first one.

A new friend, Fukka chan

Fukaya city, which is famous of long onion, has an image character called Fukka chan. Mo loves his new friend.

Dinner at usual Saizeriya

Recent kids' favorite restaurant for an early dinner after dentist check up. Both of them don't have cavities! Though Riku's front tooth is turning its color, probably caused by nerve damaged when he hit it really hard and bled a few month ago. Oops....
