Taiko performance at Sacred Heart Family Festival

As same as last year, we played taiko at annual event at Sacred Heart. Beautiful pictures on the first part were taken by Matt, with a much better camera (off course!). Many friends here and there. Kids played well, even Mo was like a new person, Ton, chilling as usual. And awesome food, wonderful weather, we stayed until they finished at 4pm. Photos here . Dragonfly larva leaving its shell at biotope at school

Open school at Mo's kindergarten today. Went to outside where they had biotope, Ton happened to be there for science class. They were having observation of nature there, and many dragonfly larva were hanging on green, leaving its shells. Quite amazing to see this in the middle of Tokyo.

Dinner at Aman Tokyo with George

Met up with George and his friends for dinner at Aman Tokyo because he couldn't get any hotel room in Tokyo for this evening. As expected, it was a wonderful hotel, though I personally felt the staff has to have more experience of working in this new hotel. Photos here .

Met up with a couple of old friends we've met during Aiiku hospital days over lunch. Always fun and interesting to catch up how the other kids are doing at different school.

Yoyo's mom had 3rd anniversary at her shop, and we stopped by to say hello. Kids wanted these beautiful cookies from Thumb and Cakes , and I got a couple of brownies. Yum!

TIS Cherry Blossom Fair

So, same as last year, Ton joined the hula on the stage at Tokyo International School Cherry Blossom Fair. Beautiful weather, some old faces, both Ton and Mo were busy playing with their old and new friends. Photos here .

They were having Italian fair, and we bought pizza and some other goodies which we had on the roof top of the department store, in beautiful weather.

Break in a cold rainy day at usual hideaway

While waiting for Ton to finish abacus class, I had to have something warm, along with this new bread with chocolate chip cookie on top (semi MELON bread).

Ramen at Afuri, Azabu Juban

It was Mo's first day at kindergarten, and it ended before lunch. It got really cold again so we decided to go to ramen for lunch. Papa joined and I had this spicy one just because it was cold and rainy day today.

It was her first day at school as 3rd grader, though it ended less than an hour. So, I took her with me to run some errands in Shibuya. And here we had lunch at illy cafe.
