Saka's exhibition

Went to check out Saka's exhibition in Ikejiri with twins. It was great to see her there! We always love her paintings and drawings.

Happy Masaki on the mini train

An annual local fair that has miniature trains running and lots of train toys to play was going on the weekend. Masaki had more than 3 train rides, and he was so happy!

Tea ceremony at Shinjuku Gyoen

 Left twins with friends, Renfield and I went to Shinjuku Gyoen to attend a tea ceremony that one of my friends from work was performing. We had 薄茶 which is a weak green tea first on a bench, then 濃茶 which is a thick tea on tatami. We dressed up in kimono just to enjoy the whole thing, despite the fact we don't know the rule of tea ceremony. The friend was in kimon, who's been learning this tea of 小堀遠州流 Kobori enshu ryu for more than 10 years now. Thank you very much for the invitation!

One of moms at Mo's class organized a TV shooting for a song called Paprika, and I took Mo together with twins. Mo was not into it at the beginning, but he was totally into it at the shooting unbelievable. It will be aired on Dec 22 and Dec 29 7:55- on Education channel, and Dec 25 15:55- on NHK.

The store was packed yet the food was almost empty. Probably the logistics were still chaotic after typhoon the day before. Twins seemed happy they had sweets for lunch though.

3y-old birthday party at PAL

I ordered a dozen of rainbow cupcakes at TAC, hand delivered them to school for all the kids in the same class of Naoya & Masaki this morning after drop off.

IKEA with Masa

Preschool is closed because we had school trip the day before, we decided to go to IKEA with Masa driving. Twins were very excited about the car ride, ice creams, Halloween stuff, and the train toys.

He joined a dodgeball team of kids to teen hall nearby that he goes often, practiced every week for the past month for this tournament. They lost the first game, though they won 2nd, won another one and ranked 6th. Good job, Mo!
