除夜の鐘＠天真寺

Annual tradition of hitting the big bell hanging at a temple on New Year's Eve. Went to a temple run by a family of Riku's friend from elementary school before midnight. It wasn't cold at all, Corrine, Emi, and Maiya joined us, though Koji was sick he stayed home. 

Riku was happy seeing some of his friends from elementary school, some of the neighbor friends were there, too. Had AMAZAKE, fermented rice drink, as a return of hitting the bell from the temple. Happy New Year!

泉岳寺 義士祭

　泉岳寺 義士祭。パレードの義士行列を見ようとすごい人だかりを横目に、境内をぐるっと。お線香を買ったり、焼きそばやらたこ焼きやら、銀杏やら七味などの屋台を眺めつつ、それなりの賑わい。義士の墓前に参拝する人の列もそれほど長くなく、若い世代は知らない人の方が多いのでしょう。境内では肉やイカを焼いて、殺生してるし、赤穂のお酒も売ってるし、首をとった記念日にお祭りをしていると、客観的に見るとなんともシュール。
