薬 Originally uploaded by piroko_kuroda Went to hospital and got some medicine for her. She's been having diarrhea for past 4 days, and diaper rash was not getting any better. Making her take powder medicine was very very difficult... Other latest news: she can clap her hands from last week. Her upper tooth is peeking.

三越 Originally uploaded by piroko_kuroda Went to Nihombashi to pick up YUKATA at Toyoda . We took subway to get there, and naturally I chose to get on priority seat so that I would be away from the general working people, and hoping I could get a seat. There I saw a young man, and three salary men sitting. Off course, no one gave me seat. So I was standing right there, imaging they're probably reciting a spell that I would go away. After 2 stops, the young man got off the station. And I took the seat. After those three salary men got off, a family of Filipinos, judging from their language, had seat. When they saw an old lady came, the father gave his seat to her. They understand the rule, but those Japanese people who were sitting previously didn't...??? I would rather give up my seat instead of suffering the irritation of worrying if I should give my seat or not.... Anyhow, got Toyoda, picked up YUKATA, and said good by to those waitresses who were having lunch before...

It was an ordinary day. She had good naps both in the morning and afternoon, went out for a short walk about an hour. She ate two meals fine. After bath, she was grumpy and puked a lot. Yes, a lot. Then had some breast milk to ease, she puked again! So I gave her water instead of breast milk. She started dozing off about 5 min later, and puked AGAIN!! After the third vomit, she fall asleep. She must be exhausted. What's happening to her?? The food was ordinary food she's used to eat. Maybe jumping in the bath many times wasn't good....?

Went to Gymboree in the afternoon today. I guess she's not used to the space yet, she wasn't very active except bubbles. She liked so much she even went to climb up the instructor...!

もうお腹いっぱい Originally uploaded by piroko_kuroda Went to Shibuya for some shopping at LOFT and MUJI, then had a break at SEIBU department store . After feeding Tonchan at baby's room, we went to food floor and ate TAICHADUKE (red sea bream sashimi on rice with tea) for myself, and SOBORO-DON (minced chicken over rice). Purchased black vinegar sweet-and-sour-pork and TONKATSU sandwich for dinner before we left. Back at home, we fed Tonchan with rice and corn soup with spinach.

Today was the hottest day in history: 40.9C in Saitama Pref. and Gifu Pref. Killed 11 people in this heat.What's happening to the earth? To escape this heat, we took bus to go to ISETAN in Shinjuku to check out Kyushu Fest . Had ice cream with yogurt from Guernsey Farm , and bought Torimeshi (chicken rice) for my dinner. Fireworks were scheduled in the evening at Jingu ball park , and we took subway instead of bus in order not to get in the traffic to go home. We stopped over to Ren's office for a break.

Hoping it would be a less people since it's obon week, we went to Shibuya. Checked out GAP, and had break at baby's room at Seibu department store. Bought black vinegar sweet-and-sour pork, and mackerel sushi at its food floor. Their selection is pretty good but it was very quiet and not busy at all, which is good for me: less chances of getting elbowed and Tonchan being poked by old ladies, but it made me a little bit nervous if they're making enough money... Probably the location is not favorable compare to the other department store located right under the Shibuya station.

ただいま Originally uploaded by piroko_kuroda Stayed at my home for a night, and we came back to Tokyo. It was her first visit to my side of family trees which has big brunches. My grandmother and mother (so, they're great grandmother and grandmother to Tonchan) were hovering Tonchan all the time during our stay, and didn't give her much of rest. She seemed fine until she went to sleep and woke up vomiting all over her. Poor thing... we'll take it easy tomorrow.

Joined Gymboree from today. There were only two babies and moms today, probably most of the people were away for break. Tonchan was a little bit nervous, but enjoyed bubbles. As we were leaving, the owner told us A/C was out of order and would take a while to fix. So, we went to the Hills after the class to escape from the heat. They were still fixing when we came back around 5:00. Opened the all windows, brought up fan from the storage, set up mosquito stick, and ate water melon to cool down, like we used to about 15 years ago. It wasn't too bad: we had nice breeze, and the air cooled down a little. They finished around 9:30 at night, and we went to bed with windows open.

Witnessed Tonchan grabbed the bars of her bed, and stood up....

ご馳走さま！ Originally uploaded by piroko_kuroda She started showing interest on the spoon about a few weeks ago, then grabbing the food about a week ago, and now trying to put the food into her mouth by hand. Now she uses two spoons (well, the precise expression is that she holds them), and put the food over her face and hair.
