Picnic at Arisugawa park and National Azabu festival
Photos here.
Such a beautiful day today, after papa went to check out Rainbow Parade in Yoyogi, managed to make kids leave the house, and we headed to National Azabu super market to get some lunch for picnic at Arisugawa Park. They had a festival going on, and had cotton candy, ring toss, super ball scooping, BBQ, etc. Ton made cotton candy, Mo scooped lots of super balls and won chips at ring toss, mama got lamb chop, and boy finished mama's green smoothie. Then we bought some lunch, and went to Arisugawa Park. Found 3 of the boys used to go with to the preschool there, laid out the mat, and papa came over. Kids played a little more at the park, then mama head back home. Tired from the sun, though it was a good day today.

Sacred Heart Family Festival
Photos here.
Joined taiko play from noon. Off course we don't have photos of the performance as we were playing.... Beautiful weather, kids enjoyed freedom of purchasing anything they want, came back with a huge bag of used toys.

Today's lunch
Lunch at Wamon with Zahra before they close at the end of this week. This is a photo of mackerel sashimi, which is very rare to have in Tokyo as mackerel gets bad very quickly you hardly can eat it row. Very good, off course, it melted like butter.

Cherry Blossom Fair at TIS
Photos here.
After school, Ton came home, put her hula costume and did her hair, we headed to Tokyo International School for their Cherry Blossom Fair. She was scheduled to join a hula show there. It's the usual international school festival you can imagine which has the usual food booths, lots of activities here and there, raffle, etc., and familiar faces here and there. So, we got tickets, kids went off for purchase as they wish, some random shows were going, some complaints from the neighbors, cops appearances, we managed to have casual lunch of popcorn, Indian curry, lamb sausage, tamales, cupcake, Popsicle, etc. Then Ton and myself moved on to the rehearsal for the show, left Mo with papa. I had to help some new keiki with their hair and makeups as they were not familiar with the dress code for hula dance. It took a while to get on a stage, later than scheduled, though she did her great job! You can watch its video here.
She had to leave for ice skating right after the show, and we lost Mo twice, though it was fun.

Waiting for a bus to go home
Sharing a chair at the bus stop.
She bought the glasses with her saved allowances. This is to protect eyes from pollens and prevent itchiness. Also one of her friends got the same one.
