Everyone was thinking about the same thing today - buy a lot just in case. So, we went to a local supermarket to add some more in a pantry, it was packed. Had to wait in line almost an hour! Mo became grumpy so I took him out and fed him with some snacks at a cafe across it and waited for his sister and father. By the time we left, the store closed the main door, limiting the number of people coming in. The aisles of water, canned food, bread, are empty, almost everyone had toilet papers. Luckily where we live are not going to have black outs as Tokyo Power planned so far, we don't have to worry about using some emergency kits, yet, it's good to be prepared.
