Tacos 3Hermanos in Ebisu

 Tacos 3Hermanos opened in Ebisu a few days ago. Had to try why it’s so popular. The languages used there are Spanish and English. Not a typical Japanese taco joint…!

Had agua fresca, a mango juice, and carnitas. They say carnitas is not spicy. I added the chili sauce on the table to add the kick. I have to come back and try the other dishes.

moderate on the green in Yoga

 Beautiful weather and the place popped up in my mind to be at was moderate on the green in Yoga. They had Holistic Market and the place was packed, though I could have a crepe, butter and sugar, together with a decaf coffee, on a bench, in a crowd, kind of a meditation. Soaked the sun, green, and I was ready go to.

Picked a pineapple cake from Shokudo poco. Love the package.

Found a recipe by Los Tacos Azules, and tried re creating at home. Lots of zucchini make it green. Didn’t add too much jalapeño, so that kids can eat. Added more chicken than the recipe said. I had guacamole though it might be better with salsa roja…

金曜日なので混雑していたので、1時間弱で退散。明日の最終日は混むんだろうなあ。では、また来年！

Lunch at MixtecoTokyo

Started with a beautiful salad, MADAI Frito with blue corn tortillas, and Pina Colada ice cream, along with café de olla, orange scented coffee.

They will change the lunch menu in 2 weeks after a long break during the goldenweek.

Family dinner at 51 East

Kid’s course:

Appetizer plate: quiche, prosciutto, and salad;
Meatball spaghetti; and
Grilled chicken breast

Grown ups ordered:
Bocconcini caprese;
Calamari fritto;
Sweetpeas, goat cheese risotto;
Carbonara gnocchi;
Burrata and pomodoro spaghettoni; and
Veal Milanese

Kids enjoyed gelato with M&Ms on top, grown ups made the veal to go, skipped dessert. Glad kids are old enough to be able to sit during the dinner!

Foreign book sale at National Azabu Super Market

 Book sale and I found “Black Out”! Some of the pages are blackened with too much ink, but that doesn’t bother me at all! Boys enjoyed reading books afterwords, along with crepe!
