Wondered around the garden the ryokan owns before check out, then took its shuttle bus back to Hachinohe station. We met with Mocchan, a friend from my university, for lunch at the station. She worked too hard she collapsed a couple times (!?) in the past, but seems doing OK. It was wonderful catching up, also talking about those days we were together. Thank you, Mocchan!
We took the green shinkansen again, headed back to home.
