Hiroko's Hitokoto

It was this dry and clear day so that we can see Mt. Fuji.

After separating from Ton & papa who went to ice skate, we walked to Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery to check out Classic Car Festival organized by Toyota. Mo took a quick tour, he liked Mitsubishi Jeep the most. Then we saw a friend of his from kindergarten and that boy's sister with family. They walked around, played around, and saw those classic cars run away. Photos here .

Annual cooking class for parents at elementary school. Theme for this time was to cook vegetable pasta dishes, and the instructor was from an Italian restaurant called KNOCK in Roppongi. It was fun and quite busy class as we cooked pasta one after another in 2 hours. Thank you very much for organizing it! Photos here .

One of dads from Mo's kindergarten friends is a chef of Ozaki, a Japanese restaurant only open for dinner usually, opened for special lunch for us. How can it be bad? We enjoyed the food very much! Photos here .

Tried a new food joint called sage & fennel. Soft and juicy roast pork, turnip, pumpkin, and carrot salad.

Saw some thing was going on from cab, we walked over to Hibiya Park from Marunouchi to see what was happening. They had a farmer's promotional event focusing on kids. We went around and got some goodies, and took a ride of rice transplanter which kids hadn't been yet. Photos here .

Trashing away batteries first... Mo wanted to play with Luca, and I took them out for park, though it started raining. So we changed destination, ended up at library.

She had fever and cough was very bad, so skipped school and took her to see Dr. It took about 2 hours, and it was lunch time by the time we finished collecting medicines. Didn't want her walk too much, we hit a bread shop close by for sit down lunch. I totally forgot how this place got crowded during lunch. We got there around 11:20, and in 10 min, there were about 20 people waiting outside...! Dr. prescribe antibiotic so that her swelling throat would get better soon, and her tummy is very loose now. I guess that means it's working. Hope she gets better tomorrow so that she can go to school, as it's going to be a open school day tomorrow.

Local hand made peanut butter ! Super good you can't go back to the mass production ones...

 On the way home, went to check out Italian Fair. Off course kids requested pizza, and they liked grilled caciocavallo a lot. Yummy! Grilled caciocavallo

One of the farmers shop had yakiimo grilling on site. Oh, the seasonal happiness.
