Playing at mall in Jiji&Baba's

Right after loading off luggages, Ton & Mo wanted to go to a mall to spend their OTOSHIDAMA, money they got on New Year's Day, so we went back on jiji's car and wet to the mall nearby. Babies played a little bit while Ton & Mo were spending their money at arcade. The we had doughnut break before heading back to jiji&baba's.

Arisugawa Park with Arriolas

We're a bit sick of everybody staying at home all day long, watching screens, we went out to Arisugawa Park to play. It was not too cold and felt pretty good.

Special soy sauce from Ozaki

So we had this special food to eat on New Year's Day from Ozaki, Risa & Ryuei's dad's restaurant, because we basically had them while they were working on this special food. Their mom asked dad to spare one for us! We earned it!! We know how much they worked on this menu so we could really appreciate all the pieces! This year the dad made the special soy sauce, too, which made him even busier. We off course shared with Arriolas. What a great start of the year!

End of the year bell hitting at Tenshinji

One of Mo's classmates have a grandfather who's a chief monk of temple, and they had end of year bell hitting event. So, we went with team Arriola and Risa & Ryuei. Monks started chanting and we waited in line for our turns. Each could hit the bell, went back to the main temple bldg, had some hot AMAZAKE, fermented rice drink. By the time it was already New Year's Day! Mo's classmate was there to help, too.
