Went to a newly opened place called Roberts Coffee for breakfast, while running the laundry machine at laundromat. Wasn't so hot so it was easy going & eating out.

Shiso juice

Lots of purple shiso, Japanese basil delivered by Masa. Made 6 batch of big pot of juice. A lot of work! We should be able to enjoy entire summer, or maybe beyond.

Taro Strawberry Milk drink from Gong Cha while running laundry

The laundry machine gave me the error that I couldn't do anything to fix, I went out to laundromat at night in the heat. To keep myself cheerful in a way among the SOE and heat and humidity, I bought myself a very sweet drink which was ending the sale at Cong Cha, a Taiwanese tea shop, while waiting for the laundry to finish.

So hot my drink sweats a lot

Happy birthday to my husband!

Birthday dinner at Luigi, our favorite. They had alcohol despite of the SOE, so the birthday boy had a toast with nice white wine that white peach soaked in. Food are amazing as usual, we forgot how great their food was as we stayed away from eating out so long. At home, Ton baked chocolate cupcakes for him and we had a ritual candle blowing ceremony along with happy birthday song.
