Tried this recipe with brown rice instead of long rice. About 5 years ago, across from the hotel, 53rd & 6th in Manhattan, I believe, I saw, the first time, a loooong line of people, day and night, lining up for this food truck. One night my husband came back with this plate, because we were so curious we had to try. It was great, cheap, and filling!! No wonder why people wait for this. I hear a few places serve this plate in Tokyo, though I tried recreating as it's much easier to do these days.
