Ordered a hashed brown, ratatouille, and ricotta cheese. While chefs were cooking the order right in front, I went to pick my choices from drinks, bread, and cakes prepared on the counter. Watermelon juice with lots of lemon, granola with yogurt and raspberry sauce, green peas soup, and a variety of bread from Beaver Bread in Higashi Nihombashi. Quite a busy place, though it was fun watching chefs working in an open kitchen.

They renovated the building that used to be a bank, and named it bakery BANK. Old structures exposed here and there, and very specious. They have a restaurant on the other half, which was not open yet, and a cafe and flower shop in the basement which weren't open yet either. They had a couple of small tables and I could use one of these to have a quick breakfast of a corn bread ham sandwich and latte. Many breads in the showcase looked delicious. Little flyers are exactly like foreign money. Love this place!
Since Ueno has many museums, we came to the National Museum of Nature and Science. They boys never showed interest in the livings, dinosaurs, etc. but they enjoyed space and deep sea exhibits and spent the most of their time there. I was enjoying the architecture of the building, which is about 100 years old, and classical stained glass. We got the re entry stamp so we came back after lunch for more.. Sky Tree! Came to find out it was closed....! Regularly they're closed on Mondays, but this day was an irregular closing day. Oh well. We'll come back and check out this Tadao Ando's piece one day.
