LUNCH@CHEZ MATSUO
Nice day today, didn’t want to stay in the office, so we went out for lunch. Turned out it became a business meeting for the new shopping site we’re working on. It’s got lots of potentials!

She’s recovered from chicken pox, and started a new nursery school from Mon, since her international school is on spring break. Beautiful cherry blossom next to her school is in almost full bloom like this photo. They’re very nice about keeping the record what she did during the day, such as diaper change, songs, etc. One thing that bothers me is that they talk baby talk, which we intentionally don’t do at home. Maybe she’ll be exposed to Disney stuff eventually….

Day 5 of chicken pox. She’s got ointment here and there all over her body, but is doing fine. Her appetite is coming back and now she’s kicking it.

Went to Dr first thing in a morning. She's got chicken pox since Fri, but she's fine like this. We have to stay home, isolated for about a week.

Uncle Newman came over for dinner. Tonchan tried some beer... wait, just a pull tub on the can.
銀座散歩
Nice and warm weather today. Went to Ginza with Jen, and Tonchan took us to walk from Shimbashi to Ginza Matsuya. Had some Tazo Chai Tea Late for break, and continued to Nihombashi. Met up with Ren after his Iai at Mitsukoshi. Bought a new shoes for Tonchan, wondered the food court before coming home for dinner.

Maybe the Chocolate Olivers she had for lunch, she became grumpy all sudden, and kept crying for good 30 min like this. No matter what I do, she refused me touching her, and just crying, nose running, and slobbering. Almost 1 hour later, finally she started having breast milk and fell asleep.

Doesn't feel well....
Tonchan through up last night twice. She didn’t have appetite these days, and wants my breast milk for the while time when we’re together, and her poop is very loose. Probably it’s because another back teeth is coming…

New Shoes...not
Since Tonchan started walking, we needed proper shoes for her for walking outside. Went to check out a small store in the neighborhood during lunch break for some shoes. Oh my, the stuff they had were hand painted shoes, not my taste, nor pretty (?!) unfortunately, but ridiculously expensive: more than US$60 a pair. I didn’t feel urge to buy any of those, and I simply left. I don’t think she wants new shoes that bad.

After morning nap and lunch, we went to Shinjuku Takashimaya to try on Ren’s custom made suit.
Then we went on to Isetan and checked out Kyushu fair. Loaded our favorite miso pork, while Tonchan was eating sample ham quite a lot.

Sushi Dinner with Jen & Peter
Jen & Peter took me out for sushi dinner at Sushi Seizan. So I left my baby with my husband at home with his mother.
Took seats in front of sushi chef to celebrate Peter’s very first Sushi in Japan, he busted his Japanese to order Uni, and 4 different sake to sample with Jen’s advise.
We had 10 pieces and several more for Peter and I, and we all finished with awesome Awabi (abalone). It’s the best Awabi I ever had in my life! They steamed if for 4 hours to make it tender. Sushi chef’s comment was that those young kids who eat potato chips and junk foods would not be able to taste this delicate daintiness, which I totally agree. I’m grateful that we all can taste it and appreciate it. Thanks Peter & Jen!

三回忌
Went back to my home for 3rd anniversary of my grand father's death.
Said hello to my elementary school teacher, who is a monk of the temple where our family grave is.
Tonchan ate a lot for lunch, amused the relatives came over, and we took train back home.

メイドクッキー
Went to husband's dojo to say happy new year this afternoon. Tonchan was catching up with everyone there. We got this cookie there and it had a lucky maid print on in. We shared it three of us.

More tooth coming
Her back tooth started coming out, and it looks like making Tonchan grumpy these days. She still cries every morning when I leave her at school, but she started eating lunch a lot and certainly enjoys playing with the other kids there.

First day at school
First day at school went fine with Tonchan, despite of the incident last night. She cried a little bit, and didn't eat much at lunch, but had nap and played with tutors and kids just fine.

Went to visit Ishihara family this afternoon. We ate a lot and my husband baked awesome apple cake.

Had lunch with the mothers at Hills since Yuuka's back in Japan after 3 months in India. They're loving their life there: two maids and a big house, a car with driver....
