Today was the hottest day in history: 40.9C in Saitama Pref. and Gifu Pref. Killed 11 people in this heat. What's happening to the earth?
To escape this heat, we took bus to go to ISETAN in Shinjuku to check out Kyushu Fest. Had ice cream with yogurt from Guernsey Farm, and bought Torimeshi (chicken rice) for my dinner.
Fireworks were scheduled in the evening at Jingu ball park, and we took subway instead of bus in order not to get in the traffic to go home. We stopped over to Ren's office for a break.

We too have had record heat. And we live in the desert!
