Eric Carle: Art, Books, and the Caterpillar @Museum of Contemprary Art Tokyo エリック・カール展 はじまりは、はらぺこあおむし @東京都現代美術館

 His book, Hungry Caterpillar, is too famous and every nursery school has it. It was very hard to publish due to the art work of holes, and a Japanese printer could do it. That's how his connection to Japan started. It had his other books, some of them are vintage, not printed anymore. 

みんな大好きはらぺこあおむし。有名すぎて、どの保育園にも必ず置いてある本。穴を開けて製本する会社が日本にしかなかったそうで、それで関係が始まったそう。いくつかの本はもう作られておらず、あるものだけ。
